For the second year in a row "Yurydychna hazeta" newspaper conducts a special study called “Ukrainian Women in Law”, which identifies the role of women in the national law business, namely of those whose professional and social activities have made an impact on the development of society, formed the main trends of certain practices in certain areas of law, made a significant contribution to the dynamic growth of not only professional sphere, but also social and political life of the country.

Jurimex specialists have once again been recognized to be among the best women lawyers in the law business. This year, the names of practicing lawyers are present in several categories of the national ranking: "Successful Women in Law" and "The most successful women lawyers in the Ukrainian Law business."

According to UWL2017, the nominees from Jurimex are Maryna Slobodnichenko, Partner and Head of Pharmaceutical and Medical Law, Administrative law and Licensing, and Vita Forsiuk, Head of Taxation.

The study was conducted through the questionnaire and was based on the results of data obtained from the feedback received from law firms. Research has been done over 2016. The winners were determined based on the analysis and submitted alphabetically in the relevant category.

Expect evaluation was carried out by a special technique, which included an analysis of three criteria: professional success (achievement of high professional results, credibility in the professional environment); impact on the industry; personal popularity and charisma.

One of the main criteria of the “Ukrainian Women in Law 2017” study was the publicity index – the coefficient of activity in the market. The editorial staff of "Yurydychna hazeta" newspaper has carried out the analysis of references made in relation to women lawyers in the media sources during 2016. The analysis of the information sources was held through such search engines as Google and Yandex and was calculated with the help of special formula for calculation of figures obtained as a result of monitoring of these search engines proportionate to quality of publications. When counting the number of references the publications on corporate sites, blogs and personal Internet resources have not been taken into account. Based on the analysis of media presence, 12 leading women lawyers have been identified. Monitoring of the number of references in the media is a sort of market activity estimate that allows to create major trends of 2016.

Modern world is transforming rapidly, boundaries are being blurred, stereotypes are being destroyed. Everyone has equal opportunities to do what they love and increase their career potential. It is professionalism that remains the main criterion in the labor market.
