On March 13, 2017, associates of Jurimex won the case in the Commercial Court of Kyiv, which obliged UKRPROFMED LLC to return the equipment worth UAH 31.8 million allocated for the new building of OKHMATDYT children's hospital.
The claim was filed due to refusal of UKRPROFMED to return the purchased equipment, which raised doubts about its availability. Confirmation of the lack of this equipment is an evidence of damage caused to the state for about UAH 32 million. Criminal proceeding is initiated.
In addition, the audit held by the State Audit Service of Ukraine found the misuse of UAH 78 million received in December 2015 by UKRPROFMED, which was a general contractor in 2011-2013. These funds were transferred to the company in violation of the budget law.
In January, with the support of Jurimex, UAH 59.8 million from the above amount were returned to the state budget.
For about 8 years, Jurimex has been providing legal services to the Board of Trustees of OKHMATDYT on the terms of Pro Bono.
