French government is preparing for submission of a draft law that will introduce rigid rules for promotion in stores. Such actions are a reaction to the uncontrollable behavior of buyers who wanted to get Nutella and other products at a price much lower than the market one. Thus, last week French supermarket sold nut butter at a discount of 70%, resulting in a price drop of less than one and a half euros per bank (approximately 43 hryvnias at the rate as on 06.02.2018).
