Head of Jurimex Criminal Law and Process Practice Andrei Ivanets defended interests of the client. The Prosecutor General of Ukraine has wrongly accused the client of forgery and usage of the official document, acquisition of another’s property in a fraudulent way.

The Court of Appeal considered the appeal by the Prosecutoron the court decision to return the indictment; however, theappealhas been dismissed.

The Board of Judges hasconfirmed the legitimacy of the court decisionandagreed with thcourt opinion  that absenceof the factualcircumstancesanddetailsofcommittinginfringementin the indictment indicates that,in fact, the Prosecutor has not filed charges to the person.Moreover, а crime billis not legally qualified,according to the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
