The Founding meeting of non-government organization “Tax Advisers Association of Ukraine” took place in the hotel “IBIS” on 29 of July, 2014. The Association was established to unite the specialists (lawyers, auditors, tax advisers, accountants, scientists) in the sphere of tax relations and provide the platform for experience exchanging, scientific work, form the proper level of the tax culture in the society to protect rights and freedoms of subjects/objects of tax relations.

Danil Getmantsev, Honorary President of Jurimex, delivered a report at the opening of the Founding meeting.“Tax is not only a payment of the society for civilization. First of all, it is an effective instrument for society management. Due to this instrument some states were prosperous and others have declined, economies have been raised and whole social classes have been eradicated, for the retention of power and coercion of political opponents. Within the whole human history there were more that 1000 tax revolts. English Bourgeois Revolution, the French Revolution, the American Revolution are the brightest historical events, caused by unfair taxation. Prosperity of ancient Greece and Rome, modern Switzerland is closely connected with a fair tax system. Also, the decline of the Spanish Empire, where the Sun once set, is also connected with unfair taxation” – reported Mr. Getmantsev.

Everyone present in this hall understands it, and realizes how this unique instrument was incompletely, ridiculously and contradictory used during the Independency of our country. How our domestic taxation is unfair. How far it falls behind its European peers. Unfortunately we do not see positive outcomes and at the present time. How much the state and society lose because of unreasonable decisions, unprofessionally drafted regulations and false legal practice. That is why leading Ukrainian specialists in taxation decided to unite their efforts for development, discussion, elaboration and solution of those challenging current legal issues. There are people who understand WHAT to do in order to sort out the main, crucial problems legal regulation.-------------------- break -------------------- 

Tax Advisers Association is established for:

- Experience exchange;

- Scientific activity;

- Formation of a proper level of tax culture in the society in order to protect rights and interests of tax consumers;

- Professional lobbying of legislative initiatives which would correspond to the interests of the taxpayers and state;

- Provision of qualitative compliance of the Ukrainian tax regulations with the European standards;

- International cooperation;

- Search of future talented specialists.

This is a public initiative. Here we can see the professionals who have many solutions and answers and unite for its implementation.We are not eager to reach the power and do not need its assistance. One thing we rely on is the attention of the government to our position.

Our name is the Tax Advisers Association (TAA).

5. Natalia Blazhyvskaya – Judge of the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine;

6. Vladyslav Sokolovskyi – Managing Partner of the Firm of attorneys “Sokolovskyi and Partners”;

7. Ihor Melnyk – Partner of the law firm “AMG Partners”;

8. Andrey Stelmashchuk – Partner of the law firm «AVER LEX»;

9. Vitaliy Serdiuk – Partner of the law firm «AVER LEX»;

10. Aleksandr Skliarenko – Managing Partner of Attorneys and Counselors at Law “Firm of attorneys “Skliarenko and partners”;

11. Oleh Radchuk – Managing partner of the the Firm of attorneys “Natsyna Rachuk”;

Yaroslav Romanchuk, Managing Partner of the International Legal Center «EUCON» was appointed the President of Association, Pavl Khodakovskyi the Vise-Preside.

At the initiative of the Organizational Committee of the Association the Advisory Board on Scientific and Research and organizational work of the Association – Scientific Council, headed by Danil Getmantsev was founded.
