From 13 to 16 of September the XVII International Finance Forum in Odesa hosted 38 speakers from eight countries, who discussed the status of international financial markets, current issues of legislation and state regulation in insurance, formation and management of insurance reserves, activities of the main categories of insurance market entities, strategic management tools etc.

Maryna Slobodnichenko, the partner of Jurimex law firm, was invited as an expert to participate in the round table discussions an the concept of medical insurance development and the practice of implementing the state reform in the field of healthcare in Ukraine and its importance for the protection of the interests of society.

During the meeting, the discussion about the models of medical reform for Ukraine, for which elected officials have to vote day-by-day , in particular, the expediency of the draft Law No. 6327 "On State Financial Guarantees for the Provision of Medical Services and Medicines" initiated by the the Ukrainian Government, and the draft law No. 4981 “On compulsory state social medical insurance” by the authorship of elected officials of the Verkhovna Rada. M. Slobodnychenko is a member of the working group on improving the legislation on the circulation of medicines under the Ministry of Health, as well as wholesale and retail trade under the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines.
