Jurimex defends rights of lotteries operator M.S.L. against which sanctions have been applied.

Today, June 2, at 10:30 in the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency a press conference was held with the topic "The effect of unreasonable sanctions on the work of the Ukrainian lottery market", which was attended by the Vice-President of M.S.L. LLC Yevhen Vlasenko and a partner of Jurimex law firm Maryna Slobodnychenko.

The reason for the meeting was the entry into force of the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 133/2017, which introduced the decision of The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of April 28, 2017 “Onthe Application of Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions)" for one year, as the result, the operator of state lotteries M.S.L. was included in the list of legal entities subject to sanctions for the third time.

The actions of lawyers of Jurimex law firm are aimed at achieving the fairness and giving the opportunity to continue the work of M.S.L. Company within the framework of the Ukrainian legislation. Maryna Slobodnychenko pointed out the initiation by the operator of the lotteries of the issue to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine regarding the exclusion of the company from the "sanction list". Legal grounds and justification for such an exclusionare in the existing list.
