The roundtable ‘Topical aspects of legal regulation of the Agrarian and Industrial Complex’ was held today in the business-center LigaBusinessInform. Jurimex Law Firm, in association with the general media-partner ‘Yuridicheskaya Practika ’ Publishing organized the event, which gathered agrarians and agricultural manufacturers.

Danil Getmantsev, Honorary President of Jurimex, opened the discussion, highlighting the most topical issues of taxation and land regulations. Among the issues under discussion were the following: development of domestic agrarian sector in the context of European integration, application of legal innovations and others.

Igor Chudovskiy, Director of Legal Department of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine talked about the new opportunities for the development of domestic agrarian sector due to the treaties on the Association with European Union.

Anna Antonenko, Senior lawyer of Jurimex, told about the current trade preference regimes. For the Ukrainian manufacturers is necessary to make a reboot in the agrarian sector in order to obtain benefits and opportunities.  

Anton Polianychko, Head of the Administrative Department of the Second Judicial Chamber of the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine, told about the peculiarities of the tax disputes with the agricultural manufacturers.

Vita Forsiuk, Head of the Tax Practice of Jurimex, delivered a speech on the tax regimes of agricultural producers and possibilities of its reforming.

Among the other aspects, which were discussed within the framework of the roundtable, Aleksandr Shyshkanov, Partner of Jurimex told about change of rent under the land lease agreements of public and communal property. Bohdan Shapoval, Partner of Jurimex spoke on the note-backed lending of agricultural manufacturers.
