Claimants, Disney Enterprises Inc., Marvel Characters Inc., Lucasfilm Ltd. LLC and Lucasfilm Entertainment Co. Ltd. LLC, filed a lawsuit to terminate the infringement of copyright and trademark rights to Characters for Hire LLC and its manager, Nick Sarrell, arguing that respondents provided services for organizing and holding parties and entertainment for children using "highly valued" protected objects of copyright and industrial property of claimants.
